When I started releasing music again in 2021, a lot of old friends crawled out of the woodwork and got back in touch. One such friend was Tomáš Heczko, whom I met over a decade ago while traveling through the town of Slavonice in Southern Bohemia. After his initial well-wishings, we began to exchange correspondence and he told me how he had also begun to make music again, reuniting with his band after 30 years. They had even started to work on an album, which would be their very first! When he inquired if I would be interested in adding a remix to the project, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. The album was pressed on vinyl and cassette and released last year. When I received my copies in the mail I was over the moon. The band has been playing shows together, made some music videos, and he tells me the album has been quite successful - better than they expected! I’m really excited to have been a part of this project, and I wanted to release an extended version of the remix to share with all of you.
